Dr. Vedder is an exceptional doctor! Her patience and extensive knowledge are truly commendable. We feel fortunate to have her as our baby's pediatrician. Additionally, whenever we leave a message, Dr. Sasala and Dr. Vedder promptly responds, which we greatly appreciate.
My son has been going to Metropolitan Pediatrics for several years. While I find the medical staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, their front desk staff are not! I only visit once per year because my son is not a sickly child and does not require many doctor visits, however each time we go the front desk staff are short when answering questions and make me feel like I'm bothering them.
I would suggest bi-annual customer service training. They are the face of the office, and if they are rude it will effect the practice as a whole.
I really love the providers. We have seen many and all have been great. I have never had a long wait time in the lobby but sometimes waiting in the exam room can be torture especially with young kids wanting to touch everything. But we never feel rushed once our turn which is important. The only real issue I have had is with the front office. I have to jump through hoops to get bills rectified. Also I concur with other reviews about feeling like you are an inconvenience when you approach the desk.
