I have been away from the city and have looked high and low for a decent haircut in the place that I am currently in. Money is no object. But nothing. And I mean nothing compares to a haircut and highlights by Mario. Believe me. He's a genius. And is truly gifted at his craft. You won't be disappointed. I certainly never was.

Like most people with curly hair, I have a very mixed curl pattern, and a long history of truly disastrous haircuts. Carlos Flores is so good at cutting my hair that it is worth it to me to drive an hour and a half each way to get the commuter line to Manhattan to have him cut my hair. He respects my hair the way it is, and doesn't try to make it do more or less than it's going to do anyway; and it always looks great when he's done, and is a breeze to live with between cuts.
