Zen is one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever encountered. Everyone’s hair is different and needs its own unique attention. Before anything else, Zen sits me down and takes his time learning what I want and what my hair will require for the perfect cut. It’s been a challenge finding a hairdresser who can successfully cut and shape a medium length(long-ish) men’s hair style. Zen, however, does it beautifully and for an amazing price!The shop is very intimate. White washed wood, complimentary lighting, and a staff that makes every customer feel special. After going through NAGI's glowing Google reviews, I booked their special promotion 3 times scalp treatment package (currently $240 for 3 sessions w/ hair blowdry).I had a wonderful experience in my first session with Mikako. The treatment starts off with a survey about lifestyle/hair concerns related to the health of your scalp. Then they take a very specialized camera to show you the current state of your scalp (gross!)I was then guided to the shampoo chair for a pre-rinse, dried off, and got a scalp massage with cooling gel.After about 10 minutes, the gel gets rinsed off, and is followed by shampoo, conditioner, and tonic. I went Sunday for a scalp treatment and blow dry. This was my first time receiving this type of service. Lynn was my stylist that day, and I could not be more satisfied!! She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She even offered me a towel for my legs since I was wearing a shorter outfit which I appreciated as I didn’t have to worry about having to constantly check to see if I needed to readjust myself. She was amazing at explaining every step of the process and the reasoning behind it. My scalp felt so clean, moisturized, and light. I’ve already recommended her to my family members and friends. I cannot wait to come back!!
