The view is fantastic. I love the rooftop lounge. A wonderful place to relax, unwind, and play a game of billiards with a view of the Empire State Building. It doesn’t get classier than Kimpton.Nearby activities: 7-11 nearby for convenience, liquor stores, McDonald’s, Korean BBQ, pizzerias.Walkability: Plenty of stores at Herald Square a few blocks away. Herald Square MTA train station nearby.
This was our second stay here. We stayed in a king deluxe which is a very big space (more than big enough for two adults a pack and play crib and a dog bed!). We love this hotel partly for the modern space/bar/restaurant in the lobby, the nice gym and spacious rooms but the biggest asset this hotel has is its staff. They are NEXT LEVEL, Urbano makes you feel like a VIP from the moment you enter the hotel. Faustina was our housekeeper and she was just THE BEST! Nothing is a problem for the staff in this hotel and they go the extra mile to make your stay restful, fun, and memorable. Pros: Staff, lobby, restaurants, bars. Decent sized rooms for NYC. Convenient location.Cons: Room was a bit ragged around the edges with a few things falling apart and not as clean as it could be.
