About Crunch Fitness - Union Square
Crunch Fitness - Union Square is a popular gym in Manhattan, offering a well-equipped space for a decent workout. The gym features a padded stretch area with a large mirror and ballet-style handlebar, along with a range of cardio equipment, machines, and free weights. Members can enjoy Woodway treadmills, which are highly appreciated. Personal training is available, and the sauna and showers provide a relaxing post-workout experience. The front desk staff, trainers, and membership team are very helpful, and the gym has recently undergone renovations that improve the layout. Although the gym can be busy during peak hours, it remains generally clean, with staff regularly cleaning the floors and mirrors. Members are encouraged to take better care of shared space by reracking their weights and cleaning equipment. The staff are knowledgeable and cater to various fitness goals, and the diverse, friendly members focus on their workouts. The classes are great and the instructors are inspiring. The equipment functions well, though some wish it was “new.” With student and employer discounts available, Crunch Fitness - Union Square is a convenient and well-rounded fitness spot.
Crunch was across the street from my hotel. Went in to find out about day pass/ week pass & they were so cool about it. The manager (Christopher Cardone) was super welcoming & dialed us in. The gym itself was perfect having every machine & weights as you'd expect at a high end gym
Very helpful and friendly staff and unbeatable location! Due to its popularity, some hours can get pretty crowded, but I can always pivot to one of the cardio machines. Freshly renovated locker rooms & sauna, which are great.
