“I found Selvin on Google maps/reviews so it is appropriate that I write this review now after hiring Selvin to trim our trees and clean up our property.

Any one with a bucket truck or climbers and a chain saw can trim a tree. What sets Selvin apart is that he is an arborist. He understands tree growth and tree health. Selvin knows trees and he loves trees!

I watched as Selvin himself went up on the trees and trimmed them by hand. He is as comfortable in the high trees as a squirrel, jumping from limb to limb!

In short, I highly recommend Selvin for your tree trimming and beautification needs.“

“This company is now owned by Cousins Tree Services, and they were excellent! I had a very expensive job done that involved a crane, removing 2 whole trees up and over my house and trimming 2 more. I was amazed that they got this entire job done in under 7 hours! They were a great team of about 10 guys... they all worked together, they were all polite to me when we spoke and they even cleaned up my neighbors yards, since my trees were very large. Communication is key, and they get an A+ on the job and in the office for that. The girls on the phone were also very polite and understanding to my needs. No problems with having questions or phone calls answered. Also, they dealt with all the permit stuff for me with my town (Saddle Brook, Bergen county) so I didn't have to get involved. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends, as I also paid a very fair price for all the hard work they did“

“I needed a huge oak tree in my back yard taken out. They came 7:30 am , they are sooo professional ! They immediately buy down plywood on the front lawn so the lawn wasn’t damaged. The crew cleaned up afterwards. (Blew off all the debris from the roof , and both front and back yard). Sean the boss is amazing as well so kind got the job done in timely manner. I highly recommend Jeff smith tree service to anyone ! Especially if your in Westwood /rivervale /Hillsdale area. If I ever need another tree taken down I will definitely be calling Jeff smith. “These guys are great. My Mom wanted a tree removed quickly. They answered their phone late one evening and the next day were at her home to give an estimate. He showed up early and delivered a fair price. A short while later he brought his crew over with these huge professional trucks to remove a 70-foot high 40-year-old tree as well as the stump. Both were ground down into chips which is exactly what my Mom wanted for future planting. Excess chips were placed at the edge of the property - per my Mom's request - for beautification. Additionally, they removed a few other trees quickly and efficiently. Through the whole process, they were mindful of the front and side lawn leaving no damage behind.
