If you want to deal with a tree company that has integrity and will actually do the right thing, then definitely keep looking for another tree service. These clowns were cutting a large tree at my next door neighbors house. First off no one gave me any notice that this was happening so I never had the chance to cover my koi pond or my pool. The workers were literally cutting large branches off and letting them fall directly into my yard, pond and pool. My backyard and pond were destroyed with saw dust and tree branches all over the place. When I showed their worker Eric, he immediately showed remorse and assisted in cleaning up, which was a good start. I had to call my pond service and pool company right away to come clean everything. I didn’t want the pool filter getting clogged and burning out from all the sawdust. More importantly I was trying to prevent any of my expensive KOI fish from dying. When I called the office, I spoke to Tara. She seemed like she cared and agreed to cover the costs of the pond and pool company’s emergency cleaning that was performed. Now that I have the bill in hand, Tara won’t reply to any of my messages. Talk about a having a lack of integrity and pulling a scum of the earth move. I would say there are plenty of tree services that would do a much better job and also know how to properly handle a business. I despise people with zero integrity, this company is a joke. The only person who is a decent human being on their team is their worker Eric. Stay away at all costs. Contact me if you want any proof, google reviews won’t let me post videos unfortunately.“

Any one with a bucket truck or climbers and a chain saw can trim a tree. What sets Selvin apart is that he is an arborist. He understands tree growth and tree health. Selvin knows trees and he loves trees!

I watched as Selvin himself went up on the trees and trimmed them by hand. He is as comfortable in the high trees as a squirrel, jumping from limb to limb!

“These guys are great. My Mom wanted a tree removed quickly. They answered their phone late one evening and the next day were at her home to give an estimate. He showed up early and delivered a fair price. A short while later he brought his crew over with these huge professional trucks to remove a 70-foot high 40-year-old tree as well as the stump. Both were ground down into chips which is exactly what my Mom wanted for future planting. Excess chips were placed at the edge of the property - per my Mom's request - for beautification. Additionally, they removed a few other trees quickly and efficiently. Through the whole process, they were mindful of the front and side lawn leaving no damage behind. “We spent a year looking for a professional tree removal company. Too many of the companies had such poor communication that we had to chase them first for response to our inquiry and then again to get our estimate. I kind of gave up during last Winter and resumed again this Fall. In total, we received six quotes from six different companies and are SO THANKFUL we saw Adirondack recommended on our town's local neighbor Facebook page.One of the owners, Bill, responded immediately and came out himself the next day and handed me a written quote. He answered and followed up immediately via phone call and text to a question I had after he left. While many other companies gave me red flags, every flag Adirondack held up was green. He was also the ONLY company to explain that he needed a permit to take down my two dead trees and I provided him the info he needed to send his request off to the town. They also happened to be tied for the lowest quote. The other company with same quote offered no tax for paying cash, but I gladly paid Adirondack the tax because of their excellent communication.They arranged a convenient time for us and our neighbors' schedules, arrived on time, and both owners, brothers Bill and Scott were there. “Colin and his team did a great job for us! We have old growth trees on our property in northern NJ that needed to be trimmed to remove sailing and dead wood. Mostly Norway maples and a pin oak tree. The Norway maples have a dense canopy, inhibiting understory growth.All work was done with care and respect for the property. They cleaned everything up very well when finished.
