Today I took Dena’s class on Meditation. It was wonderful. As always the class was designed so that students of different levels, abilities and interests would benefit. Along with some history she taught us several different methods of meditation. I was very pleasantly surprised that one of the methods especially resonated with me and that I was able to fully experience the beautiful state of letting go. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Dena of Mandala Moon for everything you do for your customers.

When my father passed away last week, the moments that followed were a blur. One of the calls I had to make relatively quick was to a funeral home. We had identified Ryan Funeral Home when my father first moved into his nursing home nine years ago but hadn't given it another thought since then. Needless to say, when I connected with Mary, I was feeling emotional and overwhelmed. But Mary put me and my mother at ease immediately. What I appreciate about Mary the most is that she showed tremendous empathy and kindness while also being thorough and deliberative in supporting our planning. She explained all the various options clearly and guided us as we planned my father's final farewell. It was like having another member of the family. The service itself was perfect. The funeral home is so cozy and welcoming - despite the sad circumstances. She set everything up beautifully, took my later in the day calls and texts with patience and kindness and really made the whole planning and day-of activities go perfectly. If you have to say farewell to a loved one, I highly recommend working with Mary. She is efficient, kind, thoughtful and a real treat to work with - again, despite the horrible circumstances.
Everyone at McClurg goes above and beyond!!! Rachel helped me design my new kitchen, Dave and Marty were there every day working, checking in and explaining the entire process to me. Richard who did the tile work (floor and backsplash) was an artist - it is so beautiful. The paint job was perfect as well (Eric). I love everything about my new kitchen. And also a big thank you to everyone at the office in Marcellus who answered questions for me. Will definitely be calling McClurg for my next project.
James was wonderful. Extremely patient with my thick, super long and neglected hair. Continued to ask what I was looking for and if I was comfortable with length, shape, cut and toner. I highly recommend CKH plumbing! I have called them out to my house twice now for two separate issues. The plumbers came both times and were extremely professional and informative with diagnosing the issues.
I called 5 separate vet hospitals to get our new kitten her free first visit the SPCA and vets provide. Marcellus was the only one who could/would take her, the woman who answered was extremely helpful and her first exam is scheduled!
