Friend of mine went there and they said the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They also complained they weren’t very good at their jobs as the haircut was nowhere near what they wanted. Would not recommend unless you want a bad hair MONTH. Friend also complained about bugs everywhere

If I could, I would put zero stars. I called to ask for a hair consultation/service but was met with no, no,no,nos. Asked about next day service and was met with more nos. They didn't even ask about what I wanted or what I could do at what price. I called back 10+ times and asked to speak to a manager but yet again met with a hold or a hang-up. Not professional and definitely not a place I would try again.

He didn't care what I said. I wanted to get my hair permed, but he sent me to get a haircut. I asked the person who had already cut my hair if I could get a perm like that. He said yes, but all I got was a haircut. He didn't care what I said or what I told him to see.then he said if wanna perm u have to paid 2time ? What happened? I didn't want to cut my hair. I wanted to curl it. Then he cut my hair so short that I couldn't do anything.

I have been living in Jackson Heights for a decade and decided to try this salon as a walk-in. Isabel greeted me. I accidentally washed my hair. Luckily this meant we could begin with the haircut. My hair is long, thick wavy frizzy hair. Isabel is amazing with her craft. I can trust her and the blow was out of this world and felt like spa and I could enjoy myself. You know that haircut scene in Edward Scissorhands, it felt like that for me!She wasn’t pulling my hair and the blow was not hot. It’s day two and my hair is straight and feels healthy. For the whole experience, it was worth the $75! For your ends, she recommends to come in every 3 months.

I have used Isabel's for decades. I often get compliments on the style when I dine in Manhattan and have people ask where I go. I also see her styling for others and she has a really good sense of what works for individuals. And her prices have been great for years only about 30-35 for women. There is a barber there for men if you prefer who is also good. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
