“Other than having to wait for the keys to be mailed to me which took about 5 days the product worked and that is important. I had been to a local locksmith who made me a key that did not work. I went back and he "fine tuned" the key and it still did not work. A Keyme kiosk scanned my key but told me that the key was unusual and it would be mailed to me. I received 3 keys (1 free) within about 5 days and they all worked perfectly.“

“I had a safe that had a faulty lock.I called central lock and key. They are not available right. Then they recommended I try to find someone else but they could come in the evening if I needed.I called another locksmith they said they were going to be there in an hour... 4 hours later they came and instead of repairing the lock they told me they're going to cut the safe in half... I told the guy I could do that too, He said what do you want me to do... I said you're a locksmith. I want you to drill the lock, reset it and install this new lock that I purchased.He looked at me like I was crazy. Said he didn't have the manual from the manufacturer to drill the lock. I told him I can get the manufacturer on the phone but I can't get the manual because I'm not a locksmith and I don't have a locksmith ID.So we called the manufacturer together and he got the instructions but proceeded to start drilling in a random place and I had to show him where the manual meant to drill.... Long story short, after drilling multiple holes in the wrong place, I told him to please leave and never mind.He left.Central lock and key came later that evening which is amazing because it was already 7:00 p.m. (I needed the safe open that day to get my passport ?)Central lock had the correct tools, the correct expertise and it was amazing to watch the guy work in in 10 minutes. My safe was open 20 more minutes and a new lock was installed. Everything perfect like it never happened.Use quality, use Central“

So was the person in charge of taking the calls-- shout-out to Natalie!After encountering many scam operations pretending to be locksmith shops, I was very nervous. Search engines such as Google and Yelp aren't legally able to take down these scam listings due to a law protecting communication of information on the internet. So all those locksmiths with 5-star reviews in the hundreds? Check if they actually have a locksmith shop. If they don't have a physical address, that's a red flag. If you look up their listed physical address on Google Maps, and you can't find the shop itself at the address, that's another red flag.J Stein, however, is legitimate.“
