About Benjamin Optical

Benjamin Optical is a full-service eye care medical practice with locations in New York and Staten Island. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including eye exams, contact lens fittings, DMV services, glaucoma screening, Fundus photography, and Visual Field screening. Patients describe the care as very professional, with a friendly and helpful staff. The office environment is clean and welcoming, and the wait times are short. One customer had a positive experience, completing their annual exam within 34 minutes, including the 15-minute wait for eye drops. However, some minor issues were noted, such as a lack of email confirmation for an appointment and the need to provide personal information multiple times during the visit, despite being a long-standing patient. Overall, Benjamin Optical is widely recommended for its quality of care and efficient service.

I recently needed a new eye prescription and saw they are located conveniently near by with ample free parking and great hours. I made an appointment and the eye doctor was super professional and so nice. They have an amazing selection of glasses and got a new pair and sunglasses. I'm so happy with the service and glasses and highly suggest all using them.

The visit and the doctor were fine. Just 2 minor points: 1) I first made the appointment online and saw the message that I would get an email confirming the appt the day before. I never got an email and when I called there was no record of an appointment. 2) I was asked for my name, address, phone number, email etc. Then in the office I had to fill out all this information again. What is the point of having a computer and asking all these questions multiple times? I have been on file with you for years.
