“I am very grateful for Ranshaw helping me out of a horrible situation with my oil burner. I had purchased a new oil burner a month earlier with my oil company. Since it was installed it wasn't working correctly in starting and stopping continuously all day. That is called short cycling caused by an oversized oil burner. I tried to get my oil company to fix it but they said they couldn't do anything. I then called Ranshaw because I heard that even though they sold their oil company, they might help me because they are the best. They sent 2 highly trained professionals who did a full diagnostic on my oil burner and wrote down solutions for my original oil company to correct. We had them refinish our floors, install mouldings, close a doorway, and create an arch to frame the entryway. They dealt with our co-op management board efficiently and professionally. They started and finished exactly on time, which was extremely important for us because we were on a very tight timeline.Jose has an amazing eye for detail and recommended things to us that we had not noticed or thought about. They did a great job with the crown mouldings, chail rails, and paneling in our foyer and around our window.Lance, Jose, and Steph were very responsive and kept us informed about what was happening. “I cannot recommend Kevin and his team highly enough. First of all, Kevin waited patiently, did several walkthroughs, and talked in detail with me many times over--for free--as I hemmed and hawed for two years before finally deciding to invest the money. My problem was terrible, relentless impact noise from the unit upstairs. Hundred-year-old building, wood-beam construction, no insulation or anything at all between ceiling and floor above. My only regret is that I did not do the job sooner. Kevin's price was more than reasonable, and he did a great job managing expectations (as in, the result is not going to be total silence). He worked patiently and expertly with my Manhattan co-op board and managing agent--no small feat. The job was finished on time, within budget, and for weeks after, I kept finding all these extras that Kevin's team had done for free: covering all my electrical outlets, for example, which had long been naked. And the paint was not just over the drywall they installed--my whole place got a brand spanking new paint job. The impact noise is better than 75 percent mitigated--it is almost nonexistent. If you're hemming and hawing about doing work with Kevin, stop and just do it. I, for one, could not be happier. --Deborah“

The first dumpster I ordered (10 yd) was too small and filled up quickly. Within a day, they were able to get me a dumpster double the size. I dealt directly with Dave, the owner. Listening to his and Helen's work relationship was a hilarious add-on to the down-to-earth customer service they provided. Great consistent communication. If there were any delays with pick-up/removal, they kept me in the loop about it. Keith was quick and hard-working when picking up/dropping off the dumpsters. I highly recommend going with D.
