I visited the spa twice so far now, I was looking for a local place that I did not have to travel far to get to and that could see me right away. My first experience was a confusing one as I had not been there before and I was not certain what their protocol was. I undressed, got on my table and proceeded to receive my deep tissue massage my therapist did not speak English the few times that I tried to speak with her,she had to call in somebody else to translate not the worst thing to happen but just noting it. I had a deep tissue massage and I will tell you this I've had many massages in the past and this is the first one where my body literally hurt for two days after my massage they are very strong! The second time I tried to indicate that I wanted a Swedish massage which again I had a hard time conveying to the staff. Their English is very limited unless you are pointing to the menu of services or have a Groupon that states exactly what you want. It will be hard to get your point across. Next time I may use my cell phone to translate. The salon itself is very clean. The staff is very friendly and the treatment rooms are small but adequate for what you need. My only issue is that they do not have doors on the massage rooms. They have curtains that are easily opened by anyone passing by. My first visit was an uneasy one, knowing that anybody can open the curtain, but that's just me. I will be back and I do recommend this place
The massage was great! All the knots were taken out and I enjoy going here. My only complaint is the noise every time I schedule an appointment. There often seems to be a disruption of the relaxing environment. Some customers walk in not being mindful of the level of their voice. There is no reason that I should be hearing full blown conversations from other customers three rooms down. I would appreciate if staff reminded customers of this.
Went for head spa, the experience consisted of a mini facial/face massage, neck and arm massage, scalp massage with hair washing, steam. They blow dry your hair afterwards which is nice. There is very much a language barrier which can be difficult to let them know the water is too hot or when I walked in to say I had an appointment, they seemed confused which threw me off. The place is absolutely beautiful, clean, and relaxing. For the price of head spa, I would try it again.
