Neighborhood Health Center Mattina is a welcoming healthcare organization dedicated to treating the whole person, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The facility is described as beautiful and clean, with great staff and dentists. It is never hard to get an appointment and the providers are knowledgeable and personable, addressing all issues with good follow up. However, some patients have experienced issues with the phone system, as it can be impossible to call and get through. Despite these issues, the staff is consistently praised for being kind and amazing. The center is committed to providing impactful healthcare to Western New Yorkers, accepting all patients and participating in most insurance plans.
A friend recommended the 300 Niagara location and Dr. Mark Lawler to me.
I was looking for a new PC doctor after BMG over charged me to say “keep exercising” for 2 years at every appointment. Dr. Lawler was thorough and asked me about everything in my history and genuinely cared about everything I was telling him. He mentioned all of the services they provided (it’s a lot) and he was very adamant about reaching out to him in their portal if I ever needed him. The staff was nice and got me in and out very quickly. I recommend this place if you’re looking for primary care but I would also look into the many other services they provide. Set had some issues with my current primary doctor especially getting in in a timely fashion which seems to be the case with most PCS nowadays.. they are extremely helpful, made it easy to switch over, is painless effortless and they made it as easy as possible. I cannot say enough good things about NP Devon Migaj. She takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and I never feel rushed. I feel so comfortable with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, thorough primary care provider. I have also never had a poor experience with any of the staff at the Mattina location. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.
