“Ive personally been to the salty and had a great experience getting a haircut but my son really loves it. The stylist knew exactly what my son wanted and he was professional and timely. It's a true barbershop furnished with a pool table and drink accommodations, extra bonus. lol making an appointment was super easy using yelp or the web as well. The only thing is if you're not familiar with downtown Buffalo you first visit might take a little to get used to parking, finding it on Main Street etc. but well worth it. All of my colleagues love it as well.“

“Having grown my hair out for years in order to donate to Locks of Love, and my old barber retiring during that time, finding a new barber was a bit nerve wracking. I decided to try Il Mulino since it received great reviews and was in the same location as my former barber (Vito's).

Dave greeted my by name as I walked in and we discussed how I wanted my hair once the ponytail was cut off. I cannot say how incredibly professional and friendly the entire experience was. Another stylist at IL Mulino (her name escapes me) braided my hair for the big cut, and conversation was so relaxed, and quite funny. Once the pony tail was cut, Dave did a phenomenal job cutting and styling my hair back to a professional and laid back look.

In all, if I Don not grow my hair out again, I will 100% being going back to IL Mulino and Dave. A true master. Thanks again, Dave!“

“Cocktail bars in Buffalo are generally similarly priced, so the quality of the cocktails themselves and the atmosphere are what really, for me, makes the difference. So I really dug this cool, funky, relaxed space that is a barbershop by day and cozy lounge by night. There's a "video fireplace," which is cooler than it sounds, a regulation-sized pool table, and a number of lounge furniture and seats around the bar. The cocktails themselves were cleverly named, well-balanced, and delicious. The wine selection appeared intelligently curated. So, there's a thing that some cocktail bars do that I really hate that Il Mulino did not do (see menu), and that's price everybody with working-class tastes out of the place. A $5 Miller High Life and an few affordable craft beers let people who aren't cocktail afficionados know that they're welcome, and that's a nice touch. Our bartender was personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. We liked Il Mulino a lot and will be back.“
