Vanity Hair Studio is an amazing salon! I am so happy with the job they do with my hair. Every single consultant has retightened my hair at least once and they all do an amazing job. The salon is so well run and it’s so easy to schedule appointments on the app. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I feel so comfortable and supported at the salon. I feel like all of the consultants genuinely care about my hair and truly go above and beyond. I ask a lot questions and I always get a thoughtful, helpful reply. Getting Sisterlocks was the best hair decision I’ve ever made and I’m so happy with my hair and with Vanity!
I found this salon in LI because I moved to Suffolk county and no longer wanted to travel to Brooklyn to get my hair done ( where I started my locs). I also wanted a consistent Loctician instead of taking whoever was available.
The salon is clean, your appointment time is dedicated to you, the stylists are professional and the prices are transparent. Also Natasha introduced me to interlocking my locs instead of palm rolling the roots and I was sold. It looks so much neater and lasts so much longer.

My Sisterlocks were installed on September 13th 2018 by the salon owner Natasha. During my consultation I immediately felt comfortable with her. We spoke about any and every bump in the road I should consider before embarking on my sisterlock journey. From relocation to the shop closing you name it we discussed it. Both of those things happened. She closed her Brooklyn shop and we both relocated. Now I travel 225 miles each way from Delaware every 6 to 8 weeks to have my crown serviced by Chika.
