My dog Spider and I were lost before we found Dani at Urban K9. She's overcome reactivity to wheels AND been crate trained even after the rescue said it would never be possible thanks to the sturdy support and expertise from Dani. We absolutely loved working with Natasha. We adopted a 2 month old rescue puppy (Olive) this past winter and we wanted to make sure she had a solid training foundation to build her confidence as a (new) New Yorker.
Natasha was extremely helpful getting us off the blocks with our new pup and walking us though our *new parent* anxiety. She was always available for questions (especially when Olive was going through a hard core land shark phase), and went out of her way to make sure we felt supported in getting Olive acclimated to city life. If you are looking for the best professional dog training, look no further than Dani at Urban K-9. We sent our boy to her for a Board and Train program while we were traveling, and the transformation has been incredible.
Before training, we struggled with certain behaviors, but he has grown tremendously and is so much happier with the structure Dani provided. His leash manners are now fantastic—he heels really well and, most importantly, no longer barks at other dogs.
He has also learned to love his crate time and has become so much more comfortable with the 'place' command, even when around new dogs.
