4 stars are for Anny - she is efficient and gives great blowouts. However, I cannot say the same about other staff. Although I went in today to book an appointment with Anny - she was not there and I was not given a heads up. The stylist who gave me a blowout seemed a bit inexperienced and used very high heat which burned my scalp multiple times. The blowout took over 1.5 hours and my hair isn’t very long. She also left pins in my hair that I noticed right before leaving. Best cut & color!!!!!!! I wandered into Local Roots one afternoon because my usual place was unavailable and I got the BEST color and cut by Annie... now, Local Roots is my spot! I come in for a root touch up / overall re-fresh once a month and it's fast, friendly and FABULOUS every time. Can't say enough about how great this place is! Thank you, Annie! xoxo
Great service! I was able to get in for an appointment same day and they were very flexible. I just wanted a wash and blow (no flat iron) and they did an excellent job. My shampoo was super thorough and the blowout was perfect. I can’t believe my hair was actually that straight from just a blow out. They did the whole process in under an hour. I’m black with 3c/4a hair and they had seemingly no trouble doing my hair. $50 was a bit pricy for just a wash and blow in my opinion but the service was top tier so I’d go back. Bring cash for tip bc it’s not an option to add it to the card!
