Love Tomahawk Salon! Been going to Maria Lina for cuts and color since 2018. The atmosphere at the salon is always welcoming and relaxing. I've gotten tons of compliments on the icy blonde that Maria Lina did during my last visit to the salon.
Maria is the best, she does hair for half the bands in Brooklyn and knows how to make you look good even if you don’t have a clear idea of what you want. Great with cuts and color
Tomahawk has been my salon for cut, creative color, corrections etc. since maybe 2011 or 12?! So grateful for a consistent and community-oriented local salon. Kristin is the amazing colorist who has been there since the salon opened, and is great at walking first time color and blonde clients of all ages through what to expect. They give the best advice for maintenance and affordable products. You’re not going to get a better rate for service at an NYC salon. Kristin used to do hair for TV shows and pop stars, and the entire team is wonderful to cover girls, gays and guys’ haircut, color and toning needs.
