FIONA is great! She is down-to-earth and wants to be in conversation with your hair even before meeting. She'll request photos of ideal haircuts and after the cut encourage a text checkin so she knows how the new haircut is settling in. She saw me happily for a post-haircut tweaking for 15 minutes. I appreciated that so much. The haircut was a little new for me. It held up in a humid run (!), which is amazing. If you are looking for an authentic person to cut your hair, a person who wants to be in conversation with you I think you'll be glad to work with Fiona.

Stumbled upon Fiona Hair NYC randomly when living in Carroll Gardens but have since moved too far away to easily come back. I was allured by a green glittery door with a trans barber shop spinning thing (forget what those are called, haha).
I investigated and Fiona came out with a green business card and looked more into her services online and she is a one-woman show and is extremely eco-conscious and the atmosphere is an utter delight as everything is green and bright. She is a brilliant hairdresser and does great barber style cuts as well which made me feel confident and wonderful. Also, an incredible colorist which is quite an art form.
