I've always been told I have nice hands/fingers for a man, despite playing organized football for 17 years. I finally decided to treat myself to my first manicure and picked this spot because it's in my neighborhood and parking is very convenient. I was "treated" immediately and asked for a basic cut, without any clear or buffed polish. I love the results and will return again.
They've remodeled since I've been here some years ago. Looks better on the inside. The customer was up to par because it was a few people inside at opening. I came in at 10:30, half hour after they opened. I got a color gel pedicure and color gel manicure. The pedicure was decent wasn't pamper elegant but it got the job done. I was offered the SNS but the price was $43 I don't think it was worth a try based on a couple of factors for me. Some reputable places offer it for $40 (which they did but it was scratched out in pen and $43 written). Secondly, I'm not sure they were ready for the job with my nails being shorter. I opted for a regular gel and it's decent. I like it. They do an okay job and I would return for convenience and avoid the crowds most locations have in Canarsie.
