Yesterday I had a pressing medical issue, and I went to Excel Urgent care of Marine Park on Avenue U. This is a new , modern facility . I was very pleased with the medical care and attention I received there. I was seen quickly, first by an assistant and then by Dr. Miller. Both were very welcoming and professional. I highly recommend Excel Urgent Care of Marine Park.
Well I got there at 9:30 am only 3 people a head of me, I wasn’t seen till 11am other than waiting staff was friendly and the dr was excellent she knew exactly what was wrong with me and prescribed the meds I needed to get better was happy then
I feel that I was not really helped. The test I took for strep thoat, didn't indicate anything sure. I waited for one hour. The staff is polite and pleasant. The doctor wants to answer one's questions. Since I have been there numerous times, I will say that the doctors on staff are not always knowledgeable about treatment or diagnosis. My grandson had a half deaf ear. They did not ask any questions that could have been key to pinpointing his problem.
