About Amazing Grace CC Nail Spa
Amazing Grace CC Nail Spa offers a variety of nail services at affordable prices. Customers praise the salon for its cleanliness and the skill of its nail technicians, especially for intricate designs. Some clients find the salon's dim lighting makes it difficult to closely inspect the work during the manicure and pedicure process, recommending they use phone lights for better visibility. While the nail services are highly recommended, customers advise caution when considering waxing services. They suggest seeking out Cindy, the owner's wife, as she is the only certified waxer. Other wax technicians may not be properly trained, potentially leading to skin irritation and discomfort. The salon's manager is described as passionate and dedicated to customer satisfaction. However, some customers note that not all employees share this same level of dedication, particularly regarding attention to detail with gel polish application.
It’s ok. I’ve been here twice: once for a chair massage and another for a body table massage. For the body massage I called and scheduled an appointment. I thought they said $55 on the phone and I asked multiple times when I got there. Turns out it is $65. Miscommunication from language so hold up your fingers to confirm prices.
The chair massage was better. The body massage was alright but when I arrived for my appointment, they seemed to scramble in confusion. I got a guy (I’m a guy) and while I don’t mind, I thought it was odd they didn’t ask me if I had a preference. The massage was good but not great. Too much oil IMO. Also the room got cold. This place is a great nail salon that I have used a few times. I get basic manicures and pedicures though so I can't speak to the fancy dips and tips and powders. They are attentive and clean. They keep it pretty dark in there so I've noticed that the regulars would use their phone lights to check the nails and ask for changes if needed. It would appear that fancy designs are their thing but basic fills require monitoring. For me, the pedicure tool usage is something I've had to monitor especially since COVID but they've been good about getting me new tools if I am suspicious about any one thing they're using on me. However, if you decide to come here for a wax, ANY wax, ask for Cindy. She's the owners wife. If she is not there, for the love of all that is holy do not do it!! No one else there is a certified waxer and you and your skin wil be sorry for days to come. They will pull wrong. They will double dip if not monitored and again, your skin will be sorry for days! Go for the nails. They are wonderful at that.
As much as I would’ve wanted to love this place bc it’s a few blocks away from , I don’t :( the manager here is amazing !!! But the other employees aren’t. She has a passion to satisfy her customers but the other employees don’t . Also , they need to pay attention to the gel colors or the way they apply it . My gel chipped the day of . I went in again and it chipped by the end of the day. I can’t spend more time in the salon . Please the check the polish. The manager should hire people that love working there.
