They are horrible. They will not give u a receipt. Lie and have an attitude when they mess up. It's not the place toy want to drop packages off. Called to find what happened and she hung up the phone 4 times to avoid answering my questions. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Highly disappointed with the poor unprofessional service i received here for the first time ever going here to get my hair done a day before Mother's Day. A simple wash & set went completely wrong instantly once I sat down for the lady to wash my hair she combed my hair from the very root of my hair to detangle my hair and proceeded to rip my hair out. I told her not once but TWICE PLEASE DO NOT DETANGLE MY HAIR THAT WAY. THE CORRECT WAY TO DETANGLE HAIR IS FROM THE END OF THE HAIR AND WORK YOUR WAY UP i then continue to explain to her my hair is already fragile thin due to PCOS I have just been diagnosed with. Even tho mg hair is long it is still very fragile and easy for breakage especially when she WASNT detangle my hair the right way which wasn't even tangle to begin with! I detangle my hair a night before going to this hair salon. My hair is just curly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after my very first experience here. The vibe wasn't genuine even after the lady who toke over my hair. I definitely felt uncomfortable & treated poorly especially after the results of how my hair came out definitely didn't meet my expectations of what I usually get If I just would of toke the trip to my original hair salon spot I go to. But ofcourse trying to stay local and get my hair done where I live WENT HORRIBLY WRONG ! NEVER AGAIN

If you have natural hair DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a Matter of fact just don't go her at all!! I could not find A&B Beauty Salon located 605 E 138th Street, BX 10454 on Yelp so i decided to add it myself. This visit was my first and last! I am a black woman with natural hair (unprocessed hair). On Saturday Jan. 20, 2018 i got what i thought was a regular wash/set and wrapped by Elizabeth (a tall brown skin Dominican woman). On Sunday Jan. 21st my hair started falling out as i brushed it, even just by running my hands through my hair it fell out!! It was much more than normal so i decided to wash my hair. something was obviously wrong! As i washed it in my kitchen sink clumps of my hair started coming out from the roots!!! my hair continued falling out as I blow dried it (on a very low heat setting). After drying my hair i noticed there was a blunt cut at the back of my hair, nearly 4" was missing in one particular spot!! (it looked like she made a part as she blow it out and just decided to cut a row of my hair off!!!! (WTF????) It was late at night so i couldn't go back to A&P Beauty Salon until the next day. Because I am mature I was as graceful as humanly possible when i spoke to the manager. She was very approachable and told me she only used top notch products in her salon and to come back the next day to talk with her and Elizabeth. When I returned on Tues. Jan 23 i spoke with Elizabeth ( the hair dresser from hell) i told her and the manager that she, Elizabeth was malicious! Not only because some kind of product was placed in my hair without my permission but because of that blunt cut of my hair. Because nothing could explain that. In the end nothing was resolved the manger offered a free wash and set and told me that my hair was very damaged from coloring. WTF??? However 90% of the damage was to my hair that was not colored. In the end they did not take responsibility. So this is why I wanted everyone to know DO NOT GO TO THIS SOLON whether your hair is natural or not and especially do not sit in Elizabeth's chair!!! Overview - In one day I lost most of the density of my 4c hair, curl pattern changed and I had to cut off about 2" of my hair, now I remain with little patches in my hair. I sincerely believe this was intentional but I just don't understand why!!
