Beacon Pilates changed my body. Scratch that. Revealed my body. I have had 3 babies, and my SI Joint (hip related) was altered and in pain. I needed to treat it correctly. Prior to doing pilates with Beacon Pilates and Juliet Harvey, I was over-stretching and over-working my joint. I was hurting it. I went to a pelvic floor occupational therapist who educated me about this, and then I went to Beacon Pilates based on her recommendations for the type of movements needed for me. Juliet is so knowledged in the area of the woman's body and hormones. All of this knowledge was woven into the moves she guided me through. Even in a group class! Juliet, along with her staff, are all incredible instructors! The one thing I love the most about this studio is the fact that all of the instructors provide a similar experience - each teaches a class that is engaging and energetic, all while making you feel like you're a part of a larger Pilates family! They keep each class fresh and new, and switch it up often, so it never seems repetitive! I always leaving feeling so much better, and with some new friends! Thank you to Juliet and her team for such an amazing and welcoming place to work out - I love Pilates and all of its truly wonderful benefits!
