“Pure Salon has become my weekly treat. I go almost every weekend for a blowout, and while I usually see Rosa, I’ve had appointments with several other stylists and have genuinely been happy with every blowout I’ve gotten.

Rosa is absolutely my color girl, though. She’s been doing my color for a long time—I actually followed her to Pure Salon—and she is incredibly good at what she does. I get compliments on my hair color CONSTANTLY, even when it’s grown out and I’m overdue to have it done. That says everything.

I also have to give credit to the girls who wash hair because they’re wonderful and really know how to give a good shampoo. My one extremely specific complaint: I cannot get behind having my hair washed by someone wearing gloves. 😂 It just feels weird! But that is genuinely about the only complaint I can come up with.

The salon itself feels high-end without the high-end prices. It’s always extremely clean, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they’ll offer you coffee—although I’m pretty sure I’ve shown up carrying my own every single time.

At this point, getting my hair blown out is something I deliberately do for myself every week, and with plenty of salons to choose from, I keep choosing Pure. That probably says more than anything else I could write. Highly recommend them—and if you’re looking for amazing color, go see Rosa.“

“I was looking for a hair salon that was opened on a Monday. To my surprise I found that there was three in the area. One in Kent, one in Mahopac and the other in Carmel. Since I live in Carmel, I went with that one, Roz & Kat Hair Salon. Roz did my blow out and she did a great job. She checked with me to ensure she was styling the way I would like. Great Prices, great haircut, great people!
Was able to fit me in easily, asked for some layers and a trim. Gave her a reference picture and she followed it well! Stylist was so nice, good conversation. I even didn’t have enough cash and they let me leave to go get it! Only $50 for a trim, layers and wash and dry. They DO NOT take card so cash or check only. My hair came out great and I left super happy. Would visit again!“
