Just had the most wonderful experience at Imagination Hair Designs. I'm a male with long hair that can be hard to manage and they did an amazing job on the haircut. They were able to get me in on short notice which was perfect and everyone working there was just extremely kind and helpful. I'm visiting from out of town and they had some great recommendations on things to do and see in the neighborhood.Service: Haircut

I've been a little underwhelmed by the haircut options in Astoria. Most places charge $100 for a basic women's cut and don't do that great of a job for the price. I've also been a couple of times to a certain popular place on Broadway where the stylist was quite nasty, so I've been searching for a new salon with a friendly stylist. I took a chance on going to Imagination since it's in my neighborhood, and I'm glad I did. Joanne did a great job cutting my hair and communicated with me clearly about what I wanted (I have a hard time being assertive with stylists, so I am glad she asked a lot of questions and made sure I was okay with it).
