I'm absolutely thrilled with the windows and installation service I received! The team was efficient, professional, and completed the installation of new windows for my entire house in just one day. The price was incredibly affordable, and the quality of the work is top-notch. The new windows have already made a huge difference in the comfort and energy efficiency of my home. I had an issue with a considerable amount of water getting into my basement, especially after the big rains in September of 2023, so I contacted several waterproofing companies.
Without question, Joe from A.M. Shield was the kindest, most honest, understanding, and professional of everyone I spoke to. He clearly explained what my options were and was willing to work with me and adjust the job proposal until we found the perfect solution for both my problem and my budget.
A.M. Shield came a few weeks later, excavated in front of my house, filling in the cracks they found in my foundation, sealing it with a Tegra-Tite membrane, and neatly restoring the flower beds to their original state (including replanting our shrubs).
Fast forward nearly 5 months and several heavy storms and we haven't had a drop of water in our basement!
As an additional testament to the integrity of the company, I discovered three months later that one of the valves for my sprinkler system was damaged by the excavation. A.M. Shield immediately mailed me a check and covered the cost of the repair.
I absolutely will be using A.M. Shield again in the future and couldn't recommend them highly enough! It's been life changing not having to worry about water getting in and under my floor again!

Sivilli Contracting is in the process of working with my General Contractor in building a home in Atlantic Beach, New York. The complexity of this project is almost unexplainable since the house is being built next to an open bay. In order to get out of the ground, there was a dewatering system set up, more than 100 piles installed, significant waterproofing as well as a 24” slab and 12” foundation walls. In addition, before any of this work started, the demolition of a home, cabana and pool took place. Sivilli has been doing all of this work and has done an unbelievable job. I have found them to be responsive as well as extremely diligent. The owner of the company, Joe Sivilli, is extremely thorough and has thought out every aspect of this process. What impressed me the most is that I have seen Joe jump on a machine if necessary and have also seen Joe stand side by side with his guys helping on any aspect of the job. I would unequivocally Sivilli without hesitation.

Sam is a master at coloring, cutting/styling and blow outs. I have been going to him for five years and each time I walk out after my appointment, I feel amazing. I get so many compliments on the color, the cut and the blowouts. Sam helped me after I was ill and lost a lot of my hair. He made me feel good about myself during the entire regrowth and I attribute my healthy and shiny hair to him and his expertise…never, ever going anywhere else. A million and one thanks Sam!!

In addition to truly mastering her craft, she is kind, patient and wholeheartedly enjoys what she does. I am so happy to have found a salon that makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. (Small business for the win) They even can dry clean hats and shoes like Yeezy or Ugg’s. Can’t beat the price on those. If anything is an issue they will take care of it immediately. I love that Dom moved Bogart’s to this location. I’ve been going to Dom for about 20 years now. He is a consummate professional but he’s also friendly, funny and he’s been my friend for a while now. Diane is a wonderful hair-cutter. She uses the Deva method for cutting curly hair and since she has curly hair herself, she knows exactly what a good curly haircut should be. She actually cuts one curl at a time and gave me the best haircut I've had in years. The salon is lovely, clean and modern without being flashy.

This studio is top notch. The teachers are professional, dedicated and caring. They also make the experience fun! My daughter takes tap and ballet classes. She loves going and when she gets home she loves to show me everything she has learned. They even offer adult Pilates classes which I recently signed up for. We are so grateful to have a place to go that helps us feel positive during such trying times.
I’ve been going to Shahnaz for laser hair removal and have had a really good experience. She’s very thorough, professional, and considerate. She takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable during each session, which I appreciate. She also offers good package deals and discounts. My hairstylist did an amazing job with my hair! I requested a blowout straight that hid the chubbiness in my face, and the hair perfectly framed my face! It stayed the entire day and made my hair look very healthy. I’m definitely coming back here for my blowdrys!
As I needed to replace the wall-to-wall carpet in my den and the nearby stairway, I walked into National Carpet which a cousin of mine strongly recommended them and was greeted by John who provided alot of ideas and much insight. He came to our home to take measurements, addressed my concerns and gave me a fair estimate of the carpet we selected. Ernesto and his colleague did a brilliant job in installing the carpet. Kudos to everyone at National Carpet. John and Ernesto were very professional and courteous and I wlll definitely use them again.

This nail salon is absolutely wonderful! Their pedicures are fabulous whether it’s a regular one or treating myself to a spa pedicure! They do a fantastic manicure. I love their powder gel French manicures as they look so pretty and even better they last for 3 weeks! Their prices are VERY reasonable too! The owner Lilly, is very professional and HONEST and just wants her customers to be happy. Ee-wah, Angel and Jessie are great at their jobs and always have a smile on their faces! Once I found this salon 4 years ago I haven’t gone anywhere else! Trust me…. You won’t be disappointed!
