After our family dentist retired, I had a toothache, so I was on the hunt for a new dentist in South Lake Tahoe.
I noticed Nicole Gordon had high ratings so I set up an appointment there. Derek Appelblatt did an assessment and got me in without delay. I was impressed with the care & hygiene at the onset, but Derek’s level of skill and knowledge was far beyond my expectations. Not only is he meticulous, but he possesses an uncommon precision in the realm. After 3 years of extensive work I have not been disappointed. To note, I had a failed root canal and with his expertise in biomimetics and avant-garde adhesive skills, he was able to save my tooth without sending me for another expensive root canal that wouldn’t have been more effective. It’s been a year since he performed the adhesion, and it’s still solid. A shout out to the whole office and crew, you are appreciated.

Dr. Chris is the best of the best!!! I was so nervous the first time I saw him because I had never seen a chiropractor before and didn’t know what to expect. He explained everything he was going to do and really helped to put my mind at ease.
I had originally gone to him when I had a large stick fall on my head. My upper back was completely locked up. I was blown away by the immediate relief a slight adjustment was able to provide. I have continued to see Dr. Chris as needed (only once every couple of months) if something in my back feels off and I’m always so impressed with how great I feel after!!! Dr. Chris is professional and very reasonably priced. He offers packages that never expire and is great about being able to get you in to see him when you’re in need!
Valorie and Doug take customer service to a whole new level. We were interested in their facial products and valorie set us up in our own station with all the samples and let us play. They are some of the nicest people we have met in Lake Tahoe.
Highly recommend getting a vitamin IV while you're in Tahoe! Maggie was so sweet and knowledgeable - I always have anxiety around needles but she was such a pro it was quick and easy. The IV's helped so much with adjusting to the higher elevation and fatigue from traveling (if you struggle with elevation sickness this is a must). This will definitely be one of our first stops every time we visit South Lake Tahoe. As an added bonus, while you're getting your IV the view of the lake is AMAZING!
My fiancée and I had very little time to plan for our wedding and I really wanted my hair and makeup done beautifully. Marianna at Bliss Salon was able to get me scheduled in a short amount of time. She meticulously created the up do that I wanted and the airbrushed makeup was perfection! I highly recommend Marianna, she is incredible and has the best personality ever!
Beautiful selection of plants and flowers that will grow at this elevation, super expert team. They helped arrange my back yard 1/2 acre and set up the water drip system. I love it.
We met Dirk at the local farmers market several years ago. Great photographer with photos of pictures from around the world.We purchased a picture of Sand Harbor a few years ago. It's a special place for my wife and myself as we were married there.Our last visit to Dirk, we purchased a great shot from Italy, where we recently visited.His studio is a little out of the way but worth a visit.

My two friends and I were walk-ins and wanted a simple line witch hat with stars as a group tattoo. I was lucky enough to get Taylor as my artist and she did a fantastic job! We had to wait about an hour, maybe less, since we didn't make an appointment which was fine since the shop is in the middle of downtown. Taylor was very nice and funny and patient with me with figuring out placement of the tattoo. Highly recommend this shop and specifically Taylor!

Kinney's Carpet Care just cleaned all my floors - carpet upstairs and tile downstairs. I called on a Friday and they were her the next Monday. They showed up exactly on time.The tech did a fantastic job and even though my carpets are fairly new, I could tell how much better everything looked when the work was done. Between the smoke from fires in the last few years and the pollen this year I was not surprised at how much he was able to pull out of the carpets. The tile and grout on the main floor looks brand new! I highly recommend Kinney's Carpet Care!

When the valve on our ice maker malfunctioned water poured out onto our family area hardwood floor and leaked through the flooring into our garage below. I was overwhelmed by the amount of damage the water caused and believed that we had lost our beautiful floor. Contacting Tahoe Mold and Water, I was pleased with the quick response to mitigate the flooding and later surprise with the results. My floor was completely saved and the damage cover by my insurance company which honored the entire repair bill submitted by TM&W. Dr.Bradford is the BEST doctor in Lake Tahoe! I flew from Southern California to see him and i am so glad i did. I am a 30 year old female who had sub mental Lyposuction surgery with Dr.Bradford. Of course I was nervous but after feeling so welcomed by his staff, especially Emily and Sage! Emily Thankyou for your kindness and for being so fun. Sage you're so sweet and caring. Dr.Bradford made the entire procedure so easy and painless. I wish I had done this years ago, but I'm so grateful for his craftsmanship and professionalism. You go above and beyond. I booked a massage a couple of days prior and was so impressed from start to finish. The spa itself is beautiful, they have a hot steam room, an outdoor covered hot tub, and locker room amenities any woman could dream of. There’s also a coed relaxation room with super comfy lounge chairs, which was such a nice touch.
Cassidy did my massage and she was absolutely incredible. I even upgraded on the spot to add another 30 minutes because I didn’t want it to end. I get massages regularly, but she was truly phenomenal. This was my first time here, and I’ll definitely be coming back to see Cassidy again.
