“I recently enrolled my GSD Husky mix and rescue pup, Gia, in a 10-day board and train program with Marie, who uses the “Training Between the Ears” (TBTE) philosophy. From the moment I met Marie, I was impressed by her deep understanding of dog behavior and her compassionate approach.

Throughout the program, Marie focused on building trust and communication with Gia. I appreciated her emphasis on positive reinforcement, self-relaxation techniques, and socialization, which was perfect for Gia’s sometimes fearful-reactive temperament. By the end of the training, Gia not only improved her basic obedience but also showed significant progress in her overall behavior. The best part is that Marie taught Gia how to make better choices in free behavior, and she is now a calmer, more confident dog.

“First time at this Cam Bow Wow location. They were perfect. We were in town and needed an all day play spot while visiting friends. “We recently moved to Reno and they have been great. We have/had two elderly dogs and the vets at Klaich have helped them both. Unfortunately through no fault of anybody we lost our large German Shepard recently who had some serious health issues at the end. They were also very great with his end of life care. I know that is sad to post but it’s also important to have people that care about the animal that is part of your family at the end.

We couldn’t be happier with our Vet here and would recommend to anyone. Our other dog is an elderly Lab and he is doing wonderful in their care.“

“This is my first time needing to board all my dogs. I am currently switching between having sold my home and purchasing my new home and am very sadly and desperately needing lengthy boarding for my "furry pack" I Found Fredies solely by searching internet and trusting reviews. I unfortunately, unexpectedly, found myself dropping at almost closing time and Dhonna did not hesitate to patiently get us through the paperwork and check in procedures. (I was not aware what was needed, but she was a champ!) She even gave me an entire tour of the place, including where the birds are! Dhonna and all her staff have not disappointed. They continue to be so very kind, considerate and exceptionally understanding and accommodating of my emotionally sad situation. (I am always balling my eyes out every time I go to visit and play with my babies) Dhonna intermittently sends videos or pics of my babies playing. We have excellent text and phone call communications when ever any need arises (even when she was out of the country on vacation, she was still in communication with me!). She checks in with me when needed to ask permission to groom them whenever she sees the need, and boy oh boy, did my super fluffy overgrown pomeranian need help!!! She did an excellent job!!! plus she also updated a couple vaccines that were missing on some of them. The most important part I am so very happy with is that every time I have popped in to see my babies, they have always been very happy, playful. They truly seem interactive and attached with all the staff members. I watch My babies always behave and excitedly "come when called" and "without leashes" follow all the staff everywhere they are told to, when its time to be ushered back to their own kennels. This is such a very sad time for me but I can rest so much easier knowing my babies are in such a great place and being so very well taken care of. I will never take my pets anywhere else.“

“The team at Adventure Pet is amazing, we had a brush fire that got with in 100 feet of their facility, the staff secured the animals and then were out on their fence line fighting the fire! They were able to maintain the line and saved not only their business but those of us located close to them, we did not see a single fire truck until after the rain came and did the rest of the work abating it (in the fire departments defense they were heavily focused on the senior citizen care center on the other side of the fire). Thank you to the amazing people who work at and/or own Adventure Pet!!“

“Kaylea is the best! Boarding & Training with her is worth investing in. Our dog - a Border Collie and Staffy mix - loves trails and adventures but isn’t the best at off-leash recall. Now we’re able to take him to a lot of places and have a lot more fun. He heels so easily on walks. He comes back so quickly when called. A lot less stressful for us whenever he meets new dogs and people. After training, our dog came back happy and easier to communicate with.“

“We had the best experience with Jennifer! She is so patient and such a great teacher with both our dog and us humans! Through the process our dog Sadie went from an anxious wreck jumping on counters and chewing up pillows after being alone for 15 minutes to being able to stay home for 5+ hours with no issues! Sadie still has some work to do but Jennifer gave us the tools help Sadie get there on our own! We are so grateful for all her help.“
