My first impression was that they have a spacious office and very friendly front staff. I didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to be placed in an exam room.
I saw Chelsea Woods for my exam. She was very pleasant, kind, and welcomed me back. She did the exam all over my body only finding a few small places on my face. She needed to freeze them so explained what to expect with noise and possible discomfort. She was very gentle and quick! She is a lovely Practitioner to work with. I will be far less apprehensive in returning.

“This was my first spa experience ever. 46 years old, never been to a spa before. From the first timers perspective. This was an enjoyable experience. There is unfamiliarity so I don't know if it's exponentially better, but this first time event was very enjoyable. The service requested was the couples hot stone massage. The website on an iOS was not user friendly and became frustrating to try to book the service. A phone call did the trick. Showing up we were greeted well, filled out the necessary paperwork and were led away to change for our comfort. I'm not a photojournalist nor did I feel it was appropriate to pic flick away in a place where people are trying to escape and relax. But, I got one, and the waiting area was clean, relaxing sand comfortable. Hands down the massage was great (see what I did there ), the masseuses were professional, quiet and thorough. The quiet was the best part. That's the part of this experience I enjoyed the most. Even in the middle of downtown Reno, it was quiet, had a pleasant aroma, and just felt insulated. The experience was worth it, enjoyable, and while I will try Refuge again one day and would recommend them, I can't wait to try the other spas in our area. Thank you Refuge Spa“

“I cannot express just how happy I am with my brows. This review is long overdue but much needed. I had microblading done 7 years ago and it never "stuck" to my skin, so I decided to try nano brows. Please note, my microblading had already faded completely. I went to Stacey with thin and uneven brows. Jokingly, I told her that my brows were so different from each other that one graduated community college and the other, a university. From the moment I walked into her suite, Stacey was so sweet, empathetic, and understanding of me and my concerns. I admire her attention to detail and perfection. The process was straightforward but I appreciated her checking in with me to see how I was doing or if I had any thoughts about my brows along the way. My confidence has improved. Some days I have really early mornings and love that I can put on minimal makeup without having to fill in my brows. GAME CHANGER. Also, I am one of those girls that had to have even brows - and this was hard because my brows were anything but even. Stacey gave my brows more uniformity and the best part is that they look natural. She was able to give me a custom color that matched my hair color. Gone are the days of block brows and weird faded colors of tattoo ink. If you are on the fence on whether you should have this procedure done...all I can say is that it is money well spent. “We absolutely LOVE visiting Steamboat Hot Springs! We like to reserve a 90 minutes in a mineral tub and then spend some of that in the outdoor tub. The water is soooo soothing and makes your skin look and feel amazing! It also just truly melts your stress away. The staff are always incredibly helpful. We are lucky to have this beautiful spot in town.“
