SEIU Nevada Local 1107 is described as wonderful and supportive. The union assists members, including helping to get jobs back and clear names. It fights for all members for better causes, raises, and perks. The union invites members to conventions and events, where they learn a lot. It brings people together in unity, showing strength in numbers. Recent efforts include supporting HomeCare workers with checks as a beginning. Members are encouraged to get involved and join the fight for everyone in the workforce, not just themselves. The union continues to grow and looks forward to the future.
I made a mistake in signing the contract. I did not have time when they came to me during the lunch break at my job. They explained to me what they could but I was not informed enough and I'm too young to be making decisions on my own. I regret signing the contract and I asked to get it back but they said there was nothing I could do. It is a scam to me and my feelings were ignored. Not fair.
This Union is the bomb… All have been sooooo wonderful… When I first started with them I was automatically invited to my first convention and it was in Philadelphia and I had a blast and learned a hole lot… I am soooooo honored and privileged to of gotten with SEIU Local 1107 and all have gotten to do soooooo far and sooooooo look forward to the future that is yet to come…
I read these reviews; everyone has their opinion what I find interesting about the bad reviews is that people are talking about price, nothing is free as we all should know by now. I gave a 5-star rating because SEIU did a great job in assisting me with getting my job back and clearing my name. everyone has something bad to say but they refuse to join the fight for the better cause of not just you but everyone one in the work force. They don't complain about the raises and other perks that the union fought for though. Get involved and fight for someone other than yourself and we will see if your views remain the same. I say that with respect and pride.
