Culinary Health Center – Nellis is for the exclusive use of Culinary Health Fund and CHFtoo participants and their dependents. Hours may vary by service. We DO NOT offer Urgent Care. Please call or visit our website for hours by service. From the moment patients walk in, the front desk staff makes them feel genuinely welcome. Claudia at the front desk has a warm smile, friendly attitude, and willingness to help that immediately puts patients at ease. She goes above and beyond to answer questions and ensure everything is needed. Another front desk girl, Maribel, is always kind and willing to help patients with a smile. The young girl Claudia is always with a smile that brightens the day. Kody Allard is the only provider who truly listens and takes concerns seriously. He does everything he can to help figure out what's going on instead of brushing off symptoms. He is kind, straightforward, and always makes patients feel heard. Lisa Lyons and her MA Elizabeth are both amazing, very kind and professional. Daisy AT. was extremely helpful and very nice, with answers to all questions about insurance. Every visit is a great experience.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shamaica Vargas, NP. She has one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. From the moment she walked into the room, she made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
She took her time to listen to all of my concerns without making me feel rushed. She asked thoughtful questions, took the time to truly understand how I was feeling, and made sure I understood everything we discussed. Her compassion, patience, and kindness made such a difference during my visit.

I love love love the culinary health center, I feel cared for when I come in. Everyone is so compassionate and considerate and try their best to be as helpful as possible. I was able to get a CT scan done here for free when Steinberg was gonna charge me $125. Trying to figure out what’s going on with my health and the added anxiety of the cost for test and treatment can be crippling but culinary saved the day once again. I’m so grateful to have access to the culinary and hope if I ever have to find another insurance that they match up to culinary. They set the standard and surpass my expectations time and time again. I came in around 12:59 for my 1pm appointment and needless to say all the receptionist we’re super friendly and helpful and got me checked in and out as well as the visit was super fast ,friendly, professional and overall I had a great experience like you usual -
