I saved myself...

I had lost a marriage of 23 years to an unfaithful man... after moving out and 1 month after finding out about the affair, I was raped. I kept it to myself as I always do, and i took the blame... after all, I dressed up and I went out to drink and flirt and I did. I went down a hole i couldn't get back out of.

I tried to take my life... I got mandated to the behavior center. I felt punished, unheard and so angry. But something good happened, I became more determined than I had ever been about anything in my life. I was going to prove to my son that people can change... that i could change.
