They are a train wreck and left our boiler in considerably worse shape than before they started. Turned a small problem into a huge, multi-thousand dollar headache. To add insult to injury, they really don't care when you call them about making it right and are actually rude about it. They shouldn't be allowed to be plumbers, but their customer service is even worse, unfortunately. Stay Away!! There are many good plumbers out there that are professional and will do the right thing. Clarks is NOT one of them.

I had Clark come to my house earlier this year to replace a leaky pop-off valve on my hot-water heating system. It took all of 3 minutes to unscrew the old one and replace it with a new one. Cost?: $150! The price was outrageous. A month or so later, the pressure relief valve on my system was leaking. I tried to go their office in Gardnerville, but no one was there. (Someone was there earlier when I was wanted to make an appointment for my pop-off valve problem.) No office hours were listed so I tried calling them. After several attempts during the day, I would only get their answering system. I went on line and tried to make an appointment, as there was an e-mail address listed. Someone tried to call me back later but I was out, so I tried to return the call but no one answered. I then sent them a PDF file explaining the problem along with a picture of the unit in question. I got some type of generic computer-generated response. Again, when they called, I was not home, so I tried calling them again and this time I told them via their answering machine that I had sent them an e-mail describing my problem. I later got a call on my answering machine that they never got the e-mail. I resent the e-mail but didn't hear from them after waiting another day or so. At this point, i decided to take my business elsewhere, as the company is poorly managed and their office staff is less-than-intelligent. So much hassle for nothing! Go somewhere else for any plumbing problems. This company just can't seem to get its act together.

Amber the office manager said “I’m not sending a tech to your house because of your frame of mind and as a mother you should go to Walmart and buy space heaters” Wow! Too bad a negative star isn’t possible. They sent an apprentice to fix our heater. Soon we noticed it was blowing cold air. Told us someone would come out that night then called back and told they didn’t have the part and would be in first thing in the morning. Mind you this December in Gardnerville with temperatures in the 20s even colder at night. Called the office due to no show in the a.m. I’ll admit I was not the nicest to the woman on the other line...very cold and frustrated at this point....read full review
