We stopped by this afternoon to get a new chassis battery for our Sprinter-based Class C Motorhome. We were simply passing through town, no appt. The Parts guy at Stones RV referred us. (They don’t work on RV chassis problems.) Canadian Tire had the battery but wouldn’t install it (they don’t work on RVs). George, the owner of MacQuarry Bros got us the right battery, had it delivered in less than ten minutes, and installed it HIMSELF in no time all, right in the parking lot! I can’t speak highly enough about this business. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else if I lived within 100 miles (I’m from TENNESSEE IN the US) of New Glasgow. Terrific Service!!! THANKS, George!

Stopped by hoping that the folks there could help repair my polarized sunglasses, which we're missing a tiny little screw that fell out of the frame. I didn't know if that was something they offered or if they could point me in the right direction, but the lady there took my glasses and fixed them within a few minutes. Saved me the hassle of finding the right screw size myself, let alone buying an entirely new pair of sunglasses if I couldn't. So big thinks to them for solving my problem with ease!

Another place wanted to over charge us on a brake job. They wanted over 500$ for front brakes only and Abercrombie auto did it for just over 300$. An honest mechanic is worth its weight in gold.

Their knowledge of product (VW) is extensive. We had an issue, they investigated, came up with a solution, provided an estimate, repaired it in a timely manner, did a couple of small additions and our car was back in just a few days. I now realize why they were recommended, great spot.

Just moved to Pictou when my truck broke down. A neighbour told me about a great family run business in New Glasgow called S.C.A. Automotive. They were able to get my truck in fast to get it fixed. Service and price point was just incredible. I will be using these guys for any future repairs. I would recommend them to anyone.

Found a way to repair the issue for $300 rather than replace the entire exhaust system which some other shops had suggested. I appreciate their integrity and will use them again.

Quick, polite, professional, skilled. I recommend them for most general hair works.However, I would be lying if I said I left happy. Honestly, I am a bit crushed.It took a long time to grow my hair out for what I was hoping to get done, and there was a lot of miscommunication (I take most of the blame for this). I should have been much more outspoken but by the time I realised we were not on the same page it was too late.It will probably take another 6 - 8 months for me to grow my hair out enough to try again.I was really looking forward to this for a while, I could have brought a photo, or prepared more on what to say, but well; maybe next time I suppose....Service: Hairstyling
