I recently booked a last-minute manicure at Riverbed Wellness through their online booking system for an upcoming photoshoot, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish! I was pleasantly surprised by the elevated service they offered. From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly welcomed and appreciated. I was even treated to a warm cup of Aveda tea, which was a lovely touch.
Choosing a nail color was a bit challenging, but the team came up with a creative solution that matched my outfit and added a sparkle element since I mentioned I’d be celebrating. Their attention to detail was impeccable, right down to the relaxing hot towel to finish off the treatment. Riverbed Wellness truly knows how to make every client feel special, and I can't wait to go back!

Had them in several times over the years for water issues. John was great on the first visit when we first moved in. Layer donald was out for some maintenance and RO replacement. Then recently Donald and Caleb were over to replace some parts on the softener. Then I was unsure about something two days later Caleb came right over to have a look at put out minds at ease. Never dissapointed when dealing with this company.

Fantastic!! Kirk worked his magic on my 2 (so far) tattoos.
He works by the hour (not by the tattoo or piecework by the job), which I believe is a very fair approach (an hour’s pay, for an hour’s work, the way it should be IMHO).
Also, he does only B&W (or, Black & Grey & White, and all shades in between), so if you’re looking for colour tattoos, you’ll have to go somewhere else. However, IMHO, B&W is the only way to go.
Kirk is actually a sketch artist (and a damn good one!), using primarily charcoal (and maybe graphite too), and if you visit his shop, you will see his drawings hanging on his walls, and they are awesome! And his sketching talent shines through in his tattoos. He uses white ink and various shades of grey ink to make his tattoos *pop*, so they appear to be “in relief” or 3-D. It truly is an amazing talent, he is indeed very gifted.
As a segue, I had a couple colour (red & black) tattoos done by another tattoo artist (who shall remain unnamed), and I was a bit disappointed in the results (one of the tattoos was decent, but the other was terrible, and looked amateurish next to Kirk’s tattoos). I may work with Kirk to attempt a “cover-up” tattoo (though I may have to have it “laser faded” first with one or two laser removal sessions… *sigh*). The other tattoo artist did work faster than Kirk, but he charged by the tattoo (piecework), and in the end, for what I paid, and for the amount of time he spent on it, I ended up paying more (a higher rate by the hour), and the quality was inferior to Kirk’s tattoos. Faster is not always better, although I would not say that Kirk works slowly, he just takes the time to do a professional job.

My first experience at Mango Nails exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and the space was clean. They accommodated me on short notice and provided a fantastic pedicure with paraffin, shellac, scrub, and hot stone massage. My fingernails were also beautifully done, considering my nail biting this is not always an easy feat. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this salon and im looking forward to returning.
Pierette seems like a lovely lady and a good business owner unfortunately she has to deal with a lazy and entitled employee so if anyone is a decent barber reading this I would suggest applying here
My first time at your salon Fri March 15th with stylist Morgan Fraser and I couldn’t be happier with my cut and color!! She did excactly what I asked for with both my cut and highlights and she was a delight, great experience and I ll be back!!
