I can’t recommend this business highly enough. One of the motors went out on our slide. We told them about what time we would be in Alamogordo, and I let them know when er arrived. Travis said I’ll be there in 15 min! And he was. Took about an hour to learn the motor was toast. Bad news was that it was Dec 30. So we wouldn’t get the part until the 2nd. So we rearranged our plans. Part didn’t end up coming in until the 3rd. So we lost another day, but we got it all worked out and our trip has been amazing!
Prompt, competent, and fair pricing! They came to us at our campsite and fixed us up just right! Travis and John are both quality people who stand behind their business and their work! Thankful for them in our time of need!

So I am always hesitant when searching for a stylist, I myself have had not so great experience. When searching for a stylist for my daughter I was referred to Chase at Changes Salon. It was best choice. Chase is fantastic! He did an amazing butterfly cut for her that she absolutely loves and gave us great advice on how to maintain it. Thank you Chase.
I am very happy. After the haircut my natural curls are showing better and I already received many compliments. I hope that Becky will continue to work here in Alamogordo. I saw also a very nice perm she did before my haircut.

I moved here 4 years ago and finally found Janae. She has such great people skills, and that is a must as a hairstylist. She takes her time, listens to my requests and provides suggestions, that have been so beneficial in meeting my needs. I highly recommend her, and I'm finally satisfied with my hair, thanks to Janae.

Her personality reflects an incredibly caring attitude toward all of her clientele I have ha the privilege of meeting at her shop. She makes everyone feel special and like part of her family. If your looking for an extremely talented hair guru who will make your day more cheerful with the many complements you may receive from your hair recent hair styling experience. And to boot, Angela is very easy on the eyes.

Manager, Tommy reached out and offered me a credit for next time I'm in town. He said he will take care of me when I choose to go in. Although my first experience was bad, his efforts to make it right are appreciated.
Came here with my mother in law and aunt while visiting from out of town on 8/9/2025. We had appointments for 11:15 but didn't get into a chair until 11:45. I had an older lady named Hanna do my shellac manicure. There was a language barrier but she cut me and made me bleed when she cut my nails, cut my cuticles and kept hurting me. Then, the polish job was uneven with bubbles in most nails and the top clear coat missing several spots. I did call and talk to a manager after I left and saw how uneven the color was and how bad the manicure was. The guy that answered argued with me about what service I got, saying I only got a clear manicure with regular polish. After he was done arguing with me, he figured out he had me confused with someone else. I told them I can't come in on Sunday because I'm leaving town but I just wanted a credit or something for next time I was in town. He just kept saying I had to go in and service was already done. I ended up hanging up and ending the conversation. Very unprofessional. The guys that did my family's nails were great but my lady had no clue what she was doing. Won't be back

My 8-year-old daughter got her hair cut at Twisted Scissor and she is absolutely in love with it! Amy was amazing—she took her time, explained everything clearly, and made sure my daughter felt completely comfortable throughout the entire experience. It meant so much to see that kind of care and patience. My daughter is already asking when we can go back! Such a great atmosphere and wonderful service. Highly recommend this place!

Walking into Shimmer Spa is like walking out of Alamogordo. From the moment you open the door it's like you have left town for a luxury getaway. I'm always impressed that something so fancy exists here. I have been seeing Melissa for massage for more years than I can count and while that is the only service that I receive at the spa, it has never stopped anyone from being friendly and welcoming to me upon arrival. I am always welcomed when I walk in the door, often by name, I am promptly cared for and comfortably seated while I wait for my sweet Melissa. As for the massage, the best ever!!! I try to go at least once a month. There is absolutely no match for quality, affordability and care that I receive from Melissa and everyone at Shimmer Spa.

Walked in wanting a small Zia tattoo and was immediately welcomed and felt relaxed by Harry. He is super down to earth and personable, and he does amazing work! I needed someone who could do fine line work and he delivered! We spent about an hour there and it was like hanging out with a friend. So happy with the final product. I had a leak at night, on a holiday, in a new city that I had just moved to the week before. Water was coming out of the wall and onto the floor and I just couldn't get it to stop. Being a holiday, I wasn't sure I would be able to get anyone out, but I called several plumbers that were listed as having emergency hours in hopes I'd be able to reach someone. Lane Plumbing called me back in a matter of minutes, clearly stated pricing, and were at my house about 20 mins later. The gentleman was able to fix the problem very quickly, and was on his way. No hidden fees, clear communication, and quick response. I absolutely recommend and I think I've found my new plumbing company!

I'm so grateful for Lightnin Lectric! I spent an entire day replacing a ceiling fan/light because the old one didn't work (and wasn't bright enough for my liking even when it did work). Well, the new one didn't work either and when I saw the mess of wiring behind the switchplate on the wall, I gave up. Well, Lightnin Lectric to the rescue! It only took an hour, including cleaing up the wiring mess in the wall, for a SUPER reasonable fee! Now I know who to call the next time one of my DIY projects goes south.
The most honest people I have ever known! I have personally witnessed the owner (who could have taken the opportunity to make a quick buck, knowing that the product wasnt what they needed) pointed the customer into the direction of another store where they could find it. You do not see much of that now and days. Now I feel confidant with every purchase I make that the chemical I buy is the right one i need for the job. When I wasnt sure how to use lavar she explained it detail how to use with patience.... which i require a lot of.

Here at Zia Therapy Center Inc., Sun City Roofing Alamogordo came and patched our entire roof and put a new covering over to last for years and years. They came in under quote and also fixed items they had found on the roof that wasnt even quoted! They were fast and thorough. We highly recommend them for any job!

Offices are beautiful. Staff is great. Dr. Cortez is best ever. You never even feel the shot to numb you up. My dental needs were extensive and all was accomplished with better outcome than expected. Couldn’t have gotten better service from all.
Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. I love my dental hygienist! She is very gentle and thorough. All the dentists I have seen there are great, very knowledgeable and caring.
First time going to this office and it was fantastic. Ashley was amazing and they answered all of my questions and concerns. Great office.
Aubrey is so knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone who is having issues. She will keep at it until she fixes the problem. This is by far the best doctor in her field. The staff are awesome as well.

Our feral cat Loki unfortunately suffers from stomatitis, an extremely painful inflammation of the mouth. He stopped eating and we did not know why, but he was correctly diagnosed by the vets at Alamogordo Animal Hospital. Despite a full mouth tooth extraction, he had a flareup and stopped eating again for almost two weeks before we could catch him. They administered a steroid injection and he was back to normal a few days later. We’re hoping for the best, but it’s comforting to know that smart, caring professionals like Dr Byrnes and Dr Lund are nearby!

I'm very new to the area, had a small altercation at the bark Park. My chihuahua mix needed to be seen by A veterinarian. Leslie, animal clinic available the day I called. Very impressed with the office and the veterinarian! Not only was the office very clean, well staffed. It was very comfortable. Everyone was soft-spoken and comforting to my very upset baby.
Knowledgeable, did a good job of explaining tasks during the appointment, was very accommodating and understanding of our unique situation and we were seen within one day of calling to make an appointment.
I made an agreement with Alamogordo Animal Control to bring my 4 month old dog LILY in to be spayed. Lilly was successfully sedated and came through with flying colors. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. Merry Christmas And Happy Hannaukah
