Randolph Square Shopping Center, 140 NJ-10, Randolph“I absolutely love training at Tiger Schulmann’s in Randolph. From day one, the staff made me feel welcome and supported. Natty took the time to answer all my questions and was incredibly patient, which made starting out so much more comfortable. When it comes to training, Coach Ricardo and Coach Alex are both excellent instructors. They explain techniques in a way that sticks! Breaking everything down step by step so you understand the details all the way down to the smallest movements. You can tell they genuinely care about your progress and want to see you succeed.“

736 Speedwell Ave #4, Morris Plains“My child loves it here. The owner and staff pay personal attention to every child and adult that walks through the door. My child started classes at 5 and has been there for over 1 year. The instruction focuses on TKD techniques and skills but also on developing character, self esteem and attention span. My child enjoys going so much. He has NEVER said he doesn’t want to go to class and runs in every week excited to see everyone. They have extra events at the studio and my son gets excited and always asks to attend. I have seen many benefits of these classes in my son. He has increased confidence, coordination, strength, attention span, motivation for working towards goals, and respect for elders. Thank you Cho’s Legacy!“

Sensei Kevin Costello greets everyone with a smile and a warm welcome. I truly appreciate that heknows how to teach people of all ages and experience as that has allowed my wife and I to both train here and grow in the great sport of Judo. I truly recommend this place to all who wish to either begin their martial arts training or further advance what they have learned prior. Overall, being a part of the Judokai has been one of my best decisions in a long time!“

5 - 8PM
300 Main St, Madison“My 7 year old has been enrolled here for over 2 years now and my 5 year old just started. We could not be more pleased about the personal growth/development of both my boys and I attribute that success in part to Master O'Connor. The martial arts instruction is excellent for kids my sons age. They find it engaging, fun, and there has been demonstrative progress in skill development with my elder son recently participating in sparring instruction.
More important, is the relationship they have with Master O'Connor. As a father who works 4 days a week in the city, having him as a strong role model teaching them respect, honor, discipline, and instilling confidence in my young boys makes him an invaluable resource to our family.
We are lucky to have them enrolled here.“

“Even though Mooshim is nowhere near where I live, I can tell you that this Taekwondo school is outstanding. I met Master Amy several years ago while training at my local dojang. We became friendly and I know that her biggest passion in life is Taekwondo (OK...maybe a close second to her family! She does love them!). Master Amy has trained under multiple TKD Grandmasters and brings a refreshing perspective to the art: a perfect combination of traditional martial arts, fitness and sports acumen. Master Amy cares deeply about every one of her students and truly gets joy out of watching their growth and success. When covid shut everything down in March, I started training with her and her students online. She shifted gears and created asynchronous content for her students to access - but, more importantly, kept the flow of live classes going using zoom. Online-only classes continued until some of the restrictions started to lift. She is currently running hybrid classes so that she can address the needs of all. There are several students that are strictly online since they live in different parts of the US (even different time zones!). Since we're still at the height of the pandemic, all in-person participants require masks, temperature checks, hand sanitizer and substantial social distancing - so (in-person) class sizes are currently limited. Master Amy has taken all precautions - and then some - to ensure everyone's safety. She's been incredibly creative on how to teach nuanced techniques from a distance and will try anything to help bring her students along. If you're looking for a great way to get fit, have fun and learn an amazing, traditional martial art - check out Mooshim.“
