For anyone who wants to learn capoeira or simply train their body in ways they never thought possible, GLDC is the most welcoming of any capoeira academy I have been to, starting with the group leader.
Amazonas is an awesome teacher with great energy. You can feel it from your first interaction with her. I love taking her classes - they’re always inspiring, entertaining, and fun. 10/10 would recommend to kids or adults.
My daughter started classes 3 yrs ago and almost a year after she started I joined the adult classes. I am very happy to call this group my family and it felt like home since day 1. Come and stop by and take a look for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
