I came in with years of color processing on very dark hair, and Giulia was extremely honest from the start about what was and wasn’t possible in a single appointment. She carefully explained the challenges of lifting previously processed dark hair, the risks of damage, and what we could realistically achieve while keeping the integrity of my hair intact. I really appreciated that level of transparency.

What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared about getting the best result possible. My appointment ended up taking much longer than expected, and even though the salon was supposed to close, Giulia immediately reassured me that she would stay as long as needed to finish my hair properly. That level of dedication is rare.

She worked through my hair meticulously, paying attention to every section and making thoughtful decisions about highlights, lowlights, placement, and overall balance. When my hair started showing signs that it had reached its lifting limit, Giulia prioritized the health of my hair rather than pushing it further. She even offered to have me come back in a few weeks to continue the process at no additional cost because achieving the final goal would require multiple sessions. I don’t often get salon haircuts so I was looking for a place with transparent pricing. When I reached out to book an appointment they offered times, stylists and prices so I could make an informed decision when booking my appointment!

The appointment was great, loved the ambiance however I showed pictures of myself with the cut I wanted (curly, short, layers) and the stylist got it short and some layers but did a blow out. I know this is typical salon procedure so it’s on me for not more explicitly saying I wanted my hair cut/styled curly. The next day when I’d washed and air dryed my hair and realized it’s not exactly I wanted, I called on a whim to see if they could squeeze me in to adjust the cut before I leave for vacation the next day. They made a huge effort to fit me in and the stylist really understood what I wanted fixed and delivered!!

Although the first cut wasn’t what I wanted, if you’re a blowout long straighter hair person I’m sure it is excellent and the second cut I got was superb for curly hair. So definitely ask for a stylist recommended for what you need.

Overall, INCREDIBLE customer service and super super glad I tried this place. I’ll absolutely keep coming back and recommending it to friends!!! They went above and beyond to ensure I had a haircut I loved and that is truly special!“

“Wish i can give this salon more than 5 stars. Crystal is an expert. I had keratin extensions that tangled my hair and almost impossible to remove. I checked with every salon in Bayonne and no one was able to do it and Venus salon told me I'd lose half of my actual hair to remove these extensions. Until I went to vanity doll hair. Im so thankful for the amazing work Crystal has done and her patients, I didn't feel any pain when she took them off. Can't thank you enough“
