Every other school we visited was a complete McDojo -- it was apparent that they were a business more than an academy and unfortunately I feel that schools like these are the reason why the traditional styles get such a bad rep in the martial arts community.

We observed a few classes and saw that unlike the others, Hamilton United was centered around focus and discipline rather than just fun. “For any brand new martial artists or those with years of experience, SEAMAA is one of the best places to learn and train. Guru Ed and Andy are incredible instructors and great people all around. They are very knowledgeable and help walk you through each step of the way. They push you to do your best without making it too overwhelming. Ive been practicing martial arts since I was very young, and I still learned so much from these classes. The classes are a lot of fun, and once you get to know everyone it gets even better.
