My son started Budo Martial Arts program at 11 years old as a beginner at the recommendation of his pediatrician as he was having some trouble focusing and was being bullied in elementary school. The improvement in focus, concentration and general attitude is amazing. He is in middle school now and no longer has a bullying problem as he walks with an air of confidence and maybe a little bit of air of don’t mess with me. I live in Boston but was home visiting my parents and dropped in for a kickboxing class. Coach Kieran and Coach Lisa were super friendly and made it very easy to jump in last minute, setting me up with loaner gloves and gi as I jumped in without having brought any of my gear down.Friendly community and new, high-quality Fairtex pads. There was an Olympic Wrestling clinic happening after the class that I couldn't stay for but it was clear people were excited for the opportunity to crosstrain and enjoy the learning processthat they were bringing in additional instructors for crosstraining and to enjoy the learning process!Great spot to train - will be back the next time...read full review

Super clean and the nicest people! The instructors meet you where you are at and break things down. As people advance so do the moves and instructions. You will have so much fun you will not even know you are working out.
