“I’ve been getting my hair cut by Mackenzie at Zoku for 10+ years and she is fabulous. Her knowledge of textures and styling techniques is top notch, and whenever I come in she spends a lot of time listening to my hair concerns and figures out a way I can achieve the look I want at home. She never oversells, and only recommends a product if she really likes it.Zoku itself always has professional and friendly staff, the salon is bright and clean, and the product selection is expansive and reasonably priced for the quality. Zoku is on the pricier end for New Jersey, but you get what you pay for.“
“Just had an appointment and thought to share my positive experiences with Yumi! I’ve seen her for a couple sessions at this time for lash lifts only and I’ve never been happier. I am a woman who has straight lashes (and short) so finding someone who understood my struggles was important.Yumi not only listened to every concern I’ve had but also has been very informative in regards to not just aftercare, but in regards to the health of my lashes as well! My main concern was having an esthetician who was transparent and Yumi would go above and beyond. At one point, she recommended me to take a break because my lashes needed more time to grow and not become “overwhelmed” with the back to back lifts. I just appreciate how she wanted the best for me and not just do a service simply for business means. Overall, i am a loyal client and will definitely go to her for the future (already booking my next session!) 10/10- Before and after!“

“I love the services here. I had an extended facial with 15min massage. For the first time ever, I fell asleep ? (bit of snoring) during a facial I was so relaxed. 3 days later my skin still feels soft and supple. Shantale is awesome! Very experienced and thoroughly explains before and after the process. So happy with the service, in 2024 I am committed to monthly facials with massage. Self care is one of my resolutions!! Definitely a MUST TRY!!!“

My hair color for over 5 years has never looked like this. I showed her pictures and the color I was wanting and explained that I requested this color to many salons and they could never come close. Maria was beyond knowledgeable of how I needed to wash my hair in cooler water verse hot water, who knew all these tips make a difference. My experience was nothing but exceptional. “The curly cut I got with Pahola was probably the best hair cut I got in my life, but the only critique I would have is that their private area for hijabis doesn't feel 100% secure. There were small cracks in the curtains, maybe too small to actually see through but it didn't feel great.“
