Even though I made my call less than a week before the planned event, she was able to put together a truly enjoyable, custom experience for the girls. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and the girls had a ball, enjoying their spa day. I was really pleased!“

“This is the best haircut I've ever received. My hair is thick and unruly, I can only style it directly after the shower w/ some sort of holding product. After going to Rob once, my hair looks amazing with and without product in it. I've gone all over Essex, Union, Morris counties as well as downtown Manhattan. “This salon is AMAZING! I visited this salon about a year ago and the owner and stylists were so kind & professional. I haven't been back ONLY because I have been wearing sew-ins and wasn't too comfortable yet wearing my natural hair out on a regular basis. Anyway, the owner was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE of my hair type and curl pattern. She told me how I cld protect my hair better and what I needed to do to keep it moisturized and growing. I would CERTAINLY recommend this salon to ANYONE who is a natural girl & loves looking fly! Check them out! U won't be disappointed“

“I’ve been getting my hair cut by Mackenzie at Zoku for 10+ years and she is fabulous. Her knowledge of textures and styling techniques is top notch, and whenever I come in she spends a lot of time listening to my hair concerns and figures out a way I can achieve the look I want at home. She never oversells, and only recommends a product if she really likes it.Zoku itself always has professional and friendly staff, the salon is bright and clean, and the product selection is expansive and reasonably priced for the quality. Zoku is on the pricier end for New Jersey, but you get what you pay for.“
