I went to Mayssa’s Beauty Mark Salon today for the first time after my curls were completely butchered… and WOW.

Deanna Calderon absolutely rocked it. I’ve never walked out of a salon actually happy with a curly style and I usually prefer to do it myself, but she nailed it. Like, NAILED IT.

Not only that, every single client that walked out while I was there looked amazing. You can just tell they truly know curly hair and specialize in it.

Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me.
If you’re in the Jersey area and looking for someone who genuinely understands curls, do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not regret it. 💁🏽‍♀️✨

Been here at least 3x within the last few months and every time the service has been wonderful. I worked with Julissa whose knowledge on waves/curls has been such a relief to encounter. I was clueless on how to keep my wave definition and she immediately recommended the type of cut, product and management at home needed to achieve it. She is great at what she does, friendly, patient and professional. Glad I found this gem.

I recently got a fantastic haircut, and I have to give all the credit to Julissa. She was incredibly professional and clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. I left feeling confident and very happy with the result!
