“Bryan and team at United Termite are excellent. He came out to quote a vapor barrier for us a few months ago after our prior crawlspace company recommended several over the top unnecessary measures (barrier/encapsulation/dehumidifier, etc). His pricing was reasonable and he honored his quote even though we waited a few months. Kim at the office was nice and helpful every time we called/emailed. Bryan and Mike did a great job with the barrier installation itself- they inspected for termites while in the crawlspace, and also cleaned out debris/materials left in it. The new barrier looks great. They left no trace of a mess in the house- very meticulous. The prior company we had installed foam board insulation and they apparently forgot to cut out the spaces around the temp vents- blocking airflow essentially. Bryan and Mike caught this and corrected it. That company also used the wrong size nails for the board, so it was just hanging there. Again, Bryan corrected. Such silly mistakes and blocked vents could have caused a ventilation issue. Overall as I said- United is excellent and trustworthy. I appreciate that Bryan as the owner is the one who is doing the work, you aren’t dealing with a sales guy and a large crew. We’ll be on their list for yearly termite inspections, and they will be the ones handling any crawlspace questions/issues for us moving forward! If you use another company, buyer beware.
