I have been experiencing a lot of hair loss and issues with my hair and she always knows how to help and how to offer advice, and how to care for it. She has me leaving the salon with beautiful hair! I have done extensions and cut with her and I can say she is the best in NJ. She knows exactly what I need and what I don't need and what would work best with my hair. She makes sure my scalp and hair is in prime condition and never does anything that would damage it. She knows many different install methods and each one she has done on me has been flawless!! I came here after having a terrible extension debacle with another salon in town. They inserted fake hair into my head and wholeheartedly convinced me that it was "100% human hair." The staff at Vanity (specifically Jackie) worked tirelessly all day to rectify another salons deceitful antics and poor quality work. They didn't charge me for the services despite it taking 10 hours to fix my hair. “Ashley Ashley Ashley! She’s been cutting my hair and I must say she’s amazing! When I started going to get my haircuts by her my hair was SUPER long and I wanted a change. I was too nervous to go short at first so we started off with a little at a time. Every visit I was going shorter and shorter! The only reason I felt so comfortable doing that was because Ashley made me feel comfortable and confident for that big change. Now I go for my trims regularly and the last time I got a scalp treatment with a keratin vanilla treatment + a cut. The massage on my scalp was great and my hair felt unbelievably soft! She was patient and kind with all of my emails and phone calls. I was running very late due to terrible traffic and terrible GPS directions, but I finally arrived. Mark David couldn’t have been more understanding and kind. We talked for a few minutes about my hair, I told him what I was looking for, he matched the color and gave me the perfect haircut! However, the customer care could be a lot better or create a system where they are really focusing on that client and then proceeding to the next. If a client is sitting down at a stylist chair, and they are running behind, late, double booked; working and servicing the first client then the second would create a better customer service experience. That way the service isn’t rushed and the client isn’t annoyed. I’ve been to the salon 3x, and twice I had to get up from my chair, wait, and then continue with my service.
