“It was cool, a different process than I'm use to..when handling natural hair..they wash x conditioner sit for 10 minutes at sink with conditioner. Detangling Rinse x rollers, hair dryer....then blow dry and press clip ends. I definitely didn't want the press I could still smell my hair.. like a burning smell, haven't had flat iron in hair for almost 15 years...Definitely won't put that type of heat in my hair again. The ladies at the shop was friendly, clean and attentive. ❤?“

“I used to go to Matu back in high school and it’s been years since I’ve been back, and it’s like they’ve only gotten better! My hair is actually really short and they managed to grip my hair and do these beautiful knotless braids. I’ve gotten so many compliments from my coworkers and strangers. They do braid v tight but they left out my edges so I’m okay w my scalp hurting for a few days to get this outcome ? 10/10 recommend!!✨“
