“I first went to June about 15 years ago for neck pain. Before beginning treatment, she reviewed a questionnaire and asked me many health related questions. The problem with my neck was quickly solved and she worked on calf spasms I had been getting since my teen years. I have since been going each month for "health maintenance." During allergy season (spring/fall) the treatments have taken me off decades of cortisone shots/anti histamines and sometimes antibiotics when my throat/nasal track became infected. She also has recommended herbs for additional relief a handful of times during high pollen days or when I now a large lawn. Acupuncture for allergies has been a real godsend!! Other maintenance may include energy boost, immune system boost, lower back pain and other tweaks from living an active life. Acupuncture in my mind is certainly a alternative better to muscle relaxers and pain meds (Rx or over the counter) with ZERO side effects!
